Hachette Book Group (HBG) is the New York branch of France-based global publishing group Hachette Livre. With offices across North America, it publishes upwards of 1400 adult books and 300 books for young readers each year, aiming to anticipate and lead change in popular culture while fostering creativity and encouraging risk-taking.

HBG trades in myriad genres and subjects, from riveting fiction to telling memoires to do-it-yourself guidebooks. For our part, we favor their works that spark operation imagination, including Bradford Angier’s live-saving How To Eat In The Woods, Nik Southern’s green-thumb guide How Not To Kill Your Plants and Evan S. Rice’s globe-trotting The Wayfarer’s Handbook.
