We understand things don’t always work out perfectly and want to ensure you have a great experience with any products or orders from Wayward. Review the below Returns and Exchange Policy so we can best help you receive what you are seeking after.
Wayward Return/Exchange Policy:
We gladly accept returns within a 30 day window from the original purchase date.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition, and packaging that you received it. Some goods may be exempt from being returned such as gift cards, bandanas, PPE, masks, drinkware, personal care products, jewelry and perishables, as well as final sale items like vintage and display items.
Any item purchased that is marked down, on sale or using a promotional discount code can only be considered for an exchange or store credit.
Completing a Return:
We offer two methods for returning product eligible within our Returns/Exchange Policy.
- In Person - Bring your receipt and product you want to return to any of our store locations
- By Mail* - Complete request form below > Wayward emails return shipping label for eligible orders > Print label and package product (include original pack list) > Schedule a pickup or drop off package at your convenience > When the product is received and approved we will issue a refund or ship an exchange and send a confirmation email.
*The customer is responsible for shipping costs of items purchased in-store and returned/exchanged by mail.
There are certain situations where only exchanges, store credit, or partial refunds will be granted (if applicable). This includes returns outside of the 30 day window, jewelry, apothecary, books or vinyl records that have been opened or used, any item not in its original condition or packaging, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
Refunds (if applicable)
We will gladly issue you a refund on full priced items returned within the 30 day window. Once we receive your return, we will notify you on the status of your return and next steps. All approved refunds will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your original form of payment or store credit within 3-5 business days.
For any cash purchases, only store credits or exchanges will be available unless you wish to visit us directly at our physical location. We cannot ship cash or check refunds.
All shipping costs associated with purchases are non-refundable, but we gladly offer free returns within the U.S.
For International returns, customer assumes the cost of any return shipping for refunds or exchanges.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you believe your refund has not occurred correctly, or you have not seen the refund within 14 business days of being notified of your approved refund, please contact us immediately at email@example.com.
Gift cards, sale*, bandanas, PPE, masks, drinkware, vintage and floor model items (if applicable)
All gift cards, bandanas, PPE, masks, drinkware, vintage and floor model items are considered final sale and only defective items will be considered for a refund, store credit or exchange.
*Sale items include any item purchased using a promotional discount code or marked down item on sale.
Exchanges (if applicable)
Beyond the 30 day window we will gladly exchange items if they are defective or damaged. If you would like to request an exchange, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will provide you with shipping instructions.
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift card will be e-mailed to you or we would be happy to assist you in an exchange.
All other items not marked as a gift receipt, please refer to our standard refund policy.
