The year was 1993: Jurassic Park had just hit the big screen, In Utero was topping the charts, and Rudy’s Barbershop was opening its first location in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood, setting in motion the modern barbershop movement.
Rudy's was founded by 3 friends – Alex Calderwood, Wade Weigel, and David Petersen – who recognized that changing times required a new approach to a traditional service.
Good people & good vibes. Rudy’s is about the shared experiences of people and place. Their shops reflect a dedication to this. “At the core of everything that we do, it starts and ends with the community," said Alex Calderwood, co-founder.
Along with an amazing barbershop experience, Rudy's now offers an award-winning line of unisex beauty and grooming essentials.
